A Luxury Travel Blog was the first travel blog in the world to focus exclusively on the luxury sector. Over the past two decades, Johnson has navigated the evolution of the internet, outlasting many traditional publications to remain a trusted independent voice. His work has previously been recognised by the BBC, CNN Travel, New York Times, The Telegraph and other media.
Despite the global reach of the site, which covers everything from private islands to sustainable highend tourism, Johnson remains firmly rooted on the edge of the Lake District, managing the operation from his base in South Cumbria.
His travels have taken him all over the world, from Kendal to Kazakhstan, and even Kangerlussuaq in Greenland, working with multiple airlines, luxury hotels and resorts, tourist boards and the automotive industry. Last year’ s adventures saw him doing everything from bobsledding in Austria and swimming with penguins in the US, to running a half marathon in Turkey and sailing a 46ft yacht around the islands of Greece. He has also spoken at several prestigious international events, from the World Travel Market in London to MALT Congress in Abu Dhabi, amassing a combined social media audience of more than 1.2 million across all channels.
