With brisk mornings and cool evenings the Spring is THE time to enjoy those mountain trails. The Appalachian trail is for sure the most famous but there are literally hundreds of trails throughout these mountains. Each one could be your favorite! They are all unique and at different skill levels . Enjoy one with waterfalls or river access or pretend that you are the king of the world on the top of a mountain peak!
