MISSION & IDENTITY
In this issue of Ramview we are happy to share
alumni and student reflections on their Service
Immersion experiences as we celebrate this year the
25th anniversary of the Christian Service Immersion
Program (formerly known as Appalachia). Larry
Spollen ’95, a participant in the 1994 trip to Nazareth
Farm in West Virginia which launched the program,
reminds us that community, simplicity, service and
prayer have been the cornerstones of all service
immersion experiences for Prep students throughout
these 25 years. Whether it was in West Virginia,
Kentucky, Camden, Mexico, Ecuador or Lacona,
New York, students experienced these cornerstones
and the profound joy that comes from serving our
brothers and sisters in need.
To ensure the continued growth of the program
over the next 25 years we have established a special
25th Anniversary Fund. This fund will enable us to
expand existing trips to meet the increased student
interest as well as to provide financial aid to ensure
that all students can participate regardless of their
family’s financial means.
E VE NT S AND RE CAP
REUNIONS!
May God continue to bless the good work that
began 25 years ago through the Prep’s Christian
Service Immersion Program.
