Metropolitan Day Staff Sgt. Robert Murray ’64 Award
On May 3rd, students and faculty ranged across the
metropolitan area for our annual Metropolitan Day. A highlight of this year’s Senior Awards Ceremony was the
inaugural presentation of the Robert C. Murray Award to
Owen Lombardi ’17. The award honors the heroism and
memory of Prep graduate and Medal of Honor recipient
Staff Sgt. Robert Murray ’64, and recognizes that member
of the senior class who has best exemplified the qualities
of Robert Murray, a genial, prayerful and genuine young
man with a devotion to his country, courage and love for
his neighbor.

The 2017 Ramkin Was Dedicated to Mr. Paul Homer
From the dedication:
Mr. Homer, the Prep has been graced by your presence since
the fall of 1989. With the soul of a German wrapped in an
Irishman’s charm, you are always looking for ways to show us
the best, the holy and the sacred in ourselves. You challenge
us - in religion classes and the Christian Service Program, at
Saint Ignatius School and in Camden, in committee work and
on Emmaus - to strive for the magis and always ad maiorem
Dei gloriam. Thank you.
