Two former Greek students consulted the oracle at Delphi
after bumping into each other on their odyssey through
Greece. Greg Martin ’65 and Tim Nast ’03 received some
sound advice from the Pythia: “Don’t bet on the Bronx
Bombers.”

Brian Malone marked his 14th year of volunteering with the Civil
Air Patrol. Brian obtained his FAA Private Pilot certificate in 1999
and is now commander of the St. Joe Valley Cadet Squadron in
Indiana. In August he was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel. Brian
sees in the CAP a connection with the Prep’s tradition of being
men for others. Brian’s brother Thomas ’75 took photos at the
promotion ceremony in September.

Augustine Perrotta was awarded honorary membership in the
Marine Corps League for "exemplary service in the interests of
the United States Marines and the Marine Corps League.
1957
Hubert Laubis and his wife Lynn were in Danbury, CT for a family
celebration. Their hotel lobby was full of young men wearing Prep
shirts, whom they soon discovered were members of the crew team.
Jim Mustich was joined by Ken Fox at one of Jim’s many book
signings for 1,000 Books to Read Before You Die.
