The annual President’s Club Reception & Dinner was held
on September 28th at The Water Club. We are deeply
grateful to our benefactors, parents, alumni and friends
of the Prep, whose loyal support and membership in our
Giving Societies resulted in a record-breaking $9.2 million
in gifts last year to advance our mission in dramatic ways.
Our 220 guests enjoyed the special evening at Buzzy
O’Keefe’s ’55 beautiful venue on the East River and heard
student speaker and Murray Family Scholarship recipient,
Lucas Chu ’19, express his gratitude for the gift of a
Fordham Prep education. In keeping with President Rev.
Christopher Devron’s remarks, that gratitude inspires
generosity, the event ended on a high note when a couple
that wishes to remain anonymous committed a gift of
$100,000 to increase their endowed scholarship. For more
