Welcome ...
Hello and a very warm welcome to the first issue of 'For The Many'. We are a group of people who
are inspired by a hope for a brighter future based on a vision of a society that spreads wealth and
opportunity across all its people and where no community - or individual for that matter - is left
behind.
We are partly inspired by socialism and Jeremy Corbyn's Labour Party, but also by looking
critically and intelligently at the world around us and asking how can we transform things for the
better?
It is all too obvious that in recent times society has become much more polarized and divided -
between rich and poor, national and immigrant, economic benefactor... or burden. At the same time
we live in an era of unprecedented wealth and prosperity, so surely the time has come to ask
questions of how by using tools of democracy and information sharing we can generate the ideas
and cohesive vision necessary to construct a truly fair and more equal society.
