Spiritual Perspective
God created males and females with very unique characteristics and when a man and woman are brought together in a relationship, they should be better together than apart…their unique characteristics should compliment each other.
This doesn’t always mean it will be easy, but the work is worth the reward. The Bible gives clear instructions on how to love on another. It is certainly worth striving for.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. (1 Corinthians 13: 4-8)
