The Power of Hope CAI currently supports over 600 students through scholarships, but there are thousands more who are forced to stay home because their families can’t afford an education. This year we want to help even more dedicated students rise above the barriers of poverty, conflict, and social stigmas to achieve their dreams. With your help, we can educate the future teachers, doctors, and leaders these countries desperately need. How Do CAI Scholarships Work? w Community Trust CAI’s scholarship program is based on our philosophy to start with the needs of the community first. Community leaders in the areas we serve provide insight on families in need of assistance, help students with the application process, and identify promising new candidates. w Scholarships for All Recipients range from kindergarten to Ph.D. students, ensuring that bright young children have the foundation to excel and women have the support to push boundaries into new fields. w Thinking Beyond Tuition In developing countries like Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan it is important to consider financial and cultural barriers to education. Our scholarships take a holistic approach to create a successful environment for all students, sometimes covering travel expenses, room and board, and stipends for those students who come from low-income families.
