SPCA WIGGLE WAGGLE RAISES

MORE THAN R72 000.00 FOR ANIMALS IN NEED

The 26 th annual Wiggle Waggle Walkathon delighted over 600 wiggling , waggling dogs and more than 750 animal lovers on the 1st of December 2019 at the School for Math ’ s and Science in Firgrove Way , Tokai .
This walkathon is one of the most important fundraisers for the Cape of Good Hope SPCA and because of you , the funds raised at the event will keep our staff working 24 / 7 to protect animals from cruelty and unnecessary suffering across the Cape Metropole .
The crowds were entertained by Stuart Taylor while Cool J Productions set a lively mood for everyone with some lovely music . In its usual style , Wiggle Waggle proved to be a wonderful day out for the entire family – Fido included ! It ’ s also such a joy for us because it ’ s one day of the year where we get to be surrounded by much-loved dogs and their loving Pawrents . It ’ s a little piece of heaven on earth for us !
Unfortunately , in 2020 lockdown restrictions meant we couldn ’ t get our usual inspirational fix and we lost an average of R300 000 in funds normally raised via our two doggie walkathons , Wiggle Waggle and Woefie Wandel . We need your support more than ever before in the coming year to make up for these missed fundraising opportunities . Please look out for our event announcements in 2021 , get your tickets to a fun day out , allow our team to indulge themselves in your beautiful furry companions and help us to keep working towards the kind of world where all dogs are loved as much as yours !
