Causes
Football hooliganism has factors in common with juvenile delinquency and what has been called "ritualized male violence". Involvement in football violence can be explained in relation to a number of factors, relating to interaction, identity, legitimacy and power. Football violence is also thought to reflect expressions of strong emotional ties to a football team, which may help to reinforce a supporter’s sense of identity. The main reasons of the problem are followed.
First , Young hooligan, usually do not form any antisocial group with diverse social values, although some believe that violence in stadiums is somehow an extension respective social phenomena. Many problems such as the climate of uncertainty and insecurity pushing the young hooligan to react and expanded several times and in this way. The social and economic problems, unemployment, lack of education, alcoholism and drug abuse, bigotry, the reactionary behavior of young people are the most serious causes of the phenomenon of hooliganism.
Also, the role of the family is important, as it should properly educate children and to provide supplies so as not to lead later to become members of these "groups". Moreover, the school does not offer, sports education which will later be able to lead young people to become true fans.
