Cradley Town
FOOTBALL CLUB
Cradley Town FC was first established in 1948 and has gone on to put
together a history of which they have every right to be proud since
then. Perhaps their biggest success in terms of trophies came when
they were crowned champions of the West Midlands Division One in
the 1990/91 season. Their current group of players will be keen to add
to their past successes over the coming years.
At present, the club is based on
Beeches View Avenue in Halesowen and
their first team currently competes in the
West Midlands League Premier Division.
They are led by Chairman Trevor
Thomas who is supported by Secretary
David Attwood and the club is looking
to progress under their guidance.
So far this season their first team has
put together a solid league campaign,
compiling a record of nine wins, three
draws and thirteen defeats from their
twenty-five matches played. This sees
them sitting in a safe mid-table position
with thirty points on the board as they
head into the new year.
This should provide them with a
steady platform from which to build
as they look ahead to the rest of the
campaign. As long as they are able to
retain their current group of players
