Fortunately, the club was revived
in January 2015 by ex-players and
officials who had become disillusioned
with the standard of the game in the
Northumberland Town. They have set
about making their own history since
then.
At present they are based at 46
The Avenue in Berwickshire and their
first team currently competes in the
Northern Alliance Second Division.
They are led by the team of Chairman
Stephen Roughead and President
Robert Johnson and the club is looking
to progress under their guidance.
So far this season their first team
has enjoyed a promising campaign
having put together a record of six wins
and four defeats from their ten league
matches. This sees them sitting in the
top half of the table with eighteen
points on the board.
This should provide them with the
perfect platform from which to build in
the second half of the campaign. As long
as they are able to retain their current
group of players and can perhaps
make one or two quality additions they
should be in with a good chance of
doing just that.
