There are a number of exciting young prospects in the ranks at the moment who split their time between youth and Reserve Team football - with a small number sent out on- loan to gain first-team experience. The Reserves side - compiled mostly of our young players - has reached the semi-final of the Scottish Reserve Cup and will face Motherwell for a place in the final in February. FF: Would you consider yours to be a community club? GH: St. Johnstone Football Club is absolutely a community club and working closely with the club’s charitable Trust - Saints in the Community - we deliver projects throughout the local area including Community Coaching Sessions for Kids, Football Memories (Dementia Care), Walking Football, Fit Fans in Training and Show Racism the Red Card. The club has recently partnered up with Aviva to deliver more projects in the community, including healthy eating campaigns in schools.
