One of their first major honours came when they won a League Cup in the 1964/65 season. In the 1982/83 season they reached the first round of the FA Cup for the first time and took on Third Division side Wrexham. They won the United Counties League Premier Division in 1990, also winning the League Cup and Benevolent Cup to complete a memorable treble. They won the title again in the 2002/03 season. In recent times they have enjoyed plenty of success in the Lincolnshire Senior Trophy, winning it in 2011/12 before retaining the trophy the following year and also winning the league for a third time. One of the highlights of the team’s performances so far this season has been the attacking brand of football that they have been able to produce. This has been reflected by the fact that they have found the back of the net 47 times in the league alone at a rate of more than two per game. This will certainly have meant that any supporters attending their matches will have been well entertained and should encourage more of the local
