Biggleswade FOLLOW FOLLOW US US ONLINE ONLINE TWITTER.COM/FOOTYFOCUSMAG TWITTER.COM/FOOTYFOCUSMAG Biggleswade FOOTBALL CLUB Biggleswade Football Club was formed in May 2016 from a very successful Biggleswade Town Under 18s side that competed in the Thurlow Nunn Youth League. Their ethos is based on attractive, passing football and they aim to involve the local community of Biggleswade in Bedfordshire, especially exciting and inspiring local school children. Football Focus Magazine recently caught up with their Chair Jeremy Reynolds to find out more about the good work the club has been doing. Involvement He started by telling us about his involvement, saying, “My son was the Under 18s Player of the Season for two years running and I duly followed the team during this time (my son had previously played for Manager Dave Northfield when he was much younger and thus I have been involved over many years). Knowing Dave Northfield, I was thus very happy when asked to be Chairman of the newly formed senior club Biggleswade FC and one of my first jobs was to write and lead the appeal at Wembley that got us placed at Step 6 football. I was hugely attracted by starting a football club ‘from scratch’ and growing an off-field structure of committee personnel. I love football and I knew that the style of football that would be played by FC would be entertaining and thrilling to watch.
