“Our biggest challenge will undoubtedly be raising the
grading of the ground from B to A, which would allow us
to compete in the National League and higher. This includes
extra terracing, more turnstiles and the ability to segregate
the ground for visiting supporters. We can’t do it alone as a
six-figure sum would be required, which is way beyond our
means, but we would look to the Football Foundation and any
other grant sources to raise the money. We definitely want
to be playing in the National League and, while some say it
would be impossible, to see just what would be required to
play in the Football League.”
