Coggeshall Town
has achieved in the past two seasons we
can now look forward to entering the
FA Cup and FA Vase for the first time
in Coggeshall Town’s history which is
something else to look forward to.
“Off the pitch things have to keep
progressing too with infrastructure
and ground grading continually being
monitored to make sure the club has the
correct facilities to continue to move up
the leagues.
“There is a major change at the top at
the club from the start of this season with
Singer Olly Murs becoming co - owner of
the football club with me. I have known
Olly for many years and am delighted
that he has decided to get involved with
the project at Coggeshall Town.
“Olly has been around the club in
the past two seasons helping out in
many ways in the background but feels
now is the right time for him to make
his involvement in the club official by
becoming joint owner with myself.
“Olly offers far more than just his
profile to the club; his determination and
drive for the club to succeed coupled
with his infectious personality is an
example that everyone should follow to
help this club be successful .Olly and I
share the same dream for Coggeshall
Town and are determined to take the
club as far as possible over the coming
years, it should be a journey well worth
following.”
“I first became involved with the club three years
ago; my Uncle is the First Team Manager and I
wanted to get fit for Soccer Aid. I fell in love with
Coggeshall Town and the atmosphere there and
have sponsored them for two years now, becoming
co-owner recently.
The lads are working hard ahead of the new season
and they’ve got a strong squad together which is in
good spirits at the moment. Obviously, everyone
wants to do well and we would love to win the
league. I just want the players to be able to look
back on their time at the club with pride and it
promises to be an exciting journey ahead for the
next few years.”
