Football Focus Magazine was keen to find out more about what they do and the work they did with Hyde and Marketing Manager, Louise
Henderson recently took the time to speak with us.
FF: What are the main benefits of the pitches you install?
LH: Our experienced R & D team are continually innovating our
sports turf systems to ensure the maximum playing performance.

Our innovative woven technologies are a world away from
traditional tufting techniques offering elite play. This includes our
3G MX product installed at Hyde United and XtraGrass which is
a hybrid product offering the best of both worlds and played on by
premiership rugby club Wasps RFC as well as Oxford United F.C.
and Vitesse to name a few.
FF: What do you think has been the key to your success?
LH: Our ability to have a solution for each individual requirement
and to offer a turnkey solution where we manage the whole process
from start to finish. Our woven technologies are also groundbreaking
in the current market place.
FF: Could you tell us more about the work that you carried
out at Hyde United?
LH: The surface played on by Hyde is our 3G woven MX product
played on by teams such as Arsenal, PSV, Charlton and Celtic also.
The woven technology results in a high tuft bind stronger than that of
traditional tufted products, making the fibres stand straighter, more
closely resemble natural grass and facilitate better infill movement -
all to maximise performance. We carried out the full installation from
start to finish and the club couldn’t be happier with their new pitch.
FF: Have you any advice for clubs interested in using your
