Their teams look to provide young players in their local community with an opportunity to play the game in a safe and enjoyable environment whilst helping them to reach their full potential. It is important for any club looking to be successful over a sustained period of time to be able to produce their own talent and this is an area they appear to have covered. It will certainly be exciting to see how their youngsters can progress over the coming years. With teams from Under 6 to Under 17 they enjoyed a fantastic campaign and were awarded ‘The 60 Issue 86 FA Charter Standard Youth Club Award’ for the 2018/19 season. This award is a just reward for all of the hard work that goes into making the club a success. On Saturday 8th June 2019, the club hosted their Annual Presentation Day. Over four sittings they were able to celebrate the success of the club and congratulate each individual player from their Under 7s right up to their Under 16s. The club stated on their official website www.darlington21stallstars. weebly.com, “Without the continued support of the players and parents we wouldn’t have a club so on behalf of the Club Committee - Thank you! An even bigger thank you to all the officials who give up their time, voluntary, to support the club which enables the children to participate in and enjoy our National Game - Football, in a fun, friendly and safe environment.” Darlington 21st Allstars deserve tremendous credit for all of the hard work that goes into the club. Youth clubs such as them play a vital role in the English game and the players that they are producing will be playing for many years to come. If they continue in the same manner then they should be able to look forwards to a bright and successful future for many years to come. Everyone at Football Focus Magazine would like to take this opportunity to wish them the best of luck for the future.
