“Personally speaking, our first
ambition is to get promoted back
into the Premier Division and
build a sustainable football club
that can challenge for conference
level football. At the moment we
have a great facility supported by
some excellent staff. To continue to
progress we will need to generate
more financial support for the first
team so that they can maintain a
position in a higher league.
“The club has had financial
problems in the past and has come a
long way since then but we have to
make sure that we are run sensibly.
Ultimately our goal is to progress
as much as possible whilst also
remaining financially stable. There is
a lot of money involved at this level
now and so we need to generate a
good amount of funding to be able to
compete but that is a challenge that
we are looking forward to.”
