Llandudno
FOOTBALL CLUB
Llandudno FC is based at the Giant Hospitality
Stadium on Builder Street West in Conwy and
the first team competed in the Welsh Premier
League last season. Unfortunately, they suffered
the disappointment of being relegated but have
been working hard to make sure that they can
bounce back from this setback quickly.
Towards the end of the
season the club announced the
appointment of former Denbigh
Town manager Matthew Jones
who has previous experience of
coaching in the Welsh Premier
League from his time at Rhyl.
Speaking to LlandudnoFC.
co.uk, Jones said, “I am delighted
to have been appointed the
manager of this fantastic football
club. Having met with the board,
I know that this is a great fit and
I am really looking forward to
getting started. The hard work
begins now and I will spend
the next few days speaking to
the existing squad and building
towards the start of the season.”
The club have certainly been
doing that and were given a
boost recently when they were
able to announce the signing of
Lee Thomas who returns for his
15th season at the club. Thomas
had spells with Llandudno
Albion and Conwy Borough last
season and brings a wealth of
experience to the squad.
He was given a well-
deserved testimonial back in
2017 and will now continue his
story at Llandudno FC as they
embark on the inaugural FAW
Championship North season
next month.
