Bradford Town
FOOTBALL CLUB
Bradford Town FC is based on Trowbridge Road in Wiltshire and
their first team currently competes in the Premier Division of the
Western Football League. They are led by the team of President
Les Stevens and Chairman Mark Hodkinson and the club is
progressing well under their guidance.
First established in 1992, the club
has gone on to put together a history
of which they have every right to
be proud and are now an important
part of the local community. The
current group of players will be
looking to build on past successes
over the coming years.
At first team level the team
enjoyed a positive season last time
around as they put together a record
of seventeen wins, eleven draws and
ten defeats from their thirty-eight
matches. This saw them finish in 7th
place in the league with sixty-two
points on the board.

This should provide them with a
solid platform from which to build
during the off-season. As long as
they are able to retain their current
group of players and can perhaps
make one or two quality additions
they should be in with a good chance
of pushing further up the league in
the new campaign.
One of the highlights of the
team’s performances last season was
the attacking brand of football that
they were able to produce. This was
reflected by the fact that they found
the back of the net seventy-eight
times in the league alone at a rate of
more than two per game.
This will certainly have meant
that any supporters attending
their matches will have been well
entertained and should encourage
more of the local community to
get behind the side in the future.
This in turn has the potential to
provide them with a valuable source
of additional revenue which is
particularly important in the current
financial climate.
Bradford Town FC is not a club
to focus solely upon their senior set
up however and this is reflected by
the fact that they also have a thriving
youth section. This part of the club
looks to provide young players
