“The youth section has a lot of teams and we provide
them with a safe environment in which to play the
game. Our ladies team won the double which was a
great achievement and I have to say that they are a really
good group who are a valuable part of the club. They’re
doing well, working very hard and getting the rewards
they deserve.
“Our biggest challenge is generating enough money
to enable our standards to remain high. Everything costs
money to maintain and we don’t have a huge income
stream so we have to manage our finances carefully.
“Over the next five years our main priority is to
continue to provide players with a place to play football.
We’re happy playing at the level we’re at and whilst I
would love to win the league realistically we’re at the
level that we can sustain and have a clear pathway for
young players in the local area to come through and
play football. Whilst we continue to do that I’ll be happy
with the way the club is progressing.”

who I have known for many years. I started off
sponsoring the training tops and have worked
my way up to being their main kit sponsor
now. They don’t pay the players so to continue
to attract players must be hard, making their
huge improvements last season even more
impressive. The camaraderie between the
players is fantastic and I’m delighted to also
be sponsoring the ladies team for next season.
The set up is a huge credit to the club and
hopefully we can build on that next season.
