Everyone at Football Focus Magazine would like to take this opportunity to wish them the best of luck for the campaign ahead.” as they compiled a record of fourteen wins, seven draws and fifteen defeats from their thirty-six league matches. This saw them finish in a safe mid- table position with forty-nine points on the board. This should provide them with a solid platform from which to build as they look ahead to their 2019/20 campaign. As long as they are able to retain their current group of players and perhaps make a few quality additions they should be in with a good chance of pushing on up the league. The club recently received a boost when they were able to announce the appointment of Matt Seeley as their new first team manager. Sealey was part of Paget’s double winning side in the 2016/17 10 Issue 86 season and returns to the club after a hugely successful spell as manager at Alcester Town, where he guided them to the MFL Division 3 title last season. Seeley will be joined in the dug out by another familiar face to Bears supporters with Paget centurion, Craig Gasiewski, joining him as assistant manager. Paget Rangers Chairman, Matthew Dainty told www. pagetrangers.co.uk, “After the departure of Jason Lanns it was important that we moved quickly to bring in a new management team ahead of the pre-season programme. Matt and Craig came across superbly in their interview and their clear enthusiasm, passion and will to win was obvious from the start. As a Board we also felt it was important that the new management team had a good understanding of what Paget Rangers is all about and how we operate so that they can continue the great work of the previous management team. As both are former Paget players we know they will be able to hit the ground running when pre-season training commences next week. We are absolutely delighted to have them on board and we can now look forward to an exciting 2019/20 season.” There is clearly much to be excited about for Paget Rangers supporters with the new season approaching.
