starting up a U15s team at the start of next season. We have
proved to the young players that there is a pathway for them
to play in the first team. We have very qualified coaches at
all levels and they all work together so players work through
the system.
“We do think we are a community club and have the
support of the town with supporters watching all ages. The
biggest challenge is to keep the club going and attracting
sponsors is one of our hardest tasks. We luckily got Grampian
Furnishers and Macdonald and Munro as main sponsors this
season and next season.
“We are hoping we can become a mid-table club in the
next two seasons and hopefully have a local team able to
compete with the more successful and more wealthy teams.
All our players are local within 10-15 miles and all our
coaches are local as well.”
