FOOTBALL CLUB
Haywards Heath Town FC is based at the Hanberry
Stadium on Allen Road in West Sussex and their first
team currently competes in the Bostik League South East
Division. They are led by the team of President Tony
Hilman and Chair Mick Cottingham and the club is
looking to progress under their guidance.
So far this season their first
team has put together a fine league
campaign, compiling a record of
eighteen wins, nine draws and
eight defeats from their thirty-five
matches played. This leaves them
sitting near the top of the table with
63 points on the board.
This should provide them with a
solid platform from which to build
as they head into the summer. As
long as they are able to retain their
current group of players and can
perhaps make one or two quality
additions, they should be in with a
good chance of pushing on in the
future.
One of the highlights of the
team’s performances this season has
been the attacking brand of football
that they have been able to produce.
This has been reflected by the fact
that they have found the back of the
net 65 times in the league alone at a
rate of nearly two per game.
This will certainly have meant

that any supporters attending
their matches will have been well
entertained and should encourage
more of the local community to
get behind the side in the future.
This in turn has the potential to
provide them with a valuable source
of additional revenue which is
