DELICIOUS CREOLE RUMP ROAST
It ' s nothing like a tasty mouth watering flavor rump roast and few delicious side dishes to eat at dinner during the holidays. Foodlagniappe create a fabulous 2017 holiday dinner menu. We have two secrets to help you with flavoring a rump roast.
First, secret is simply easy task to do called brining. What is brining? a process similar to marination in which poultry is soaked in brine before cooking. Salt is added to cold water in a container, where the meat is soaked anywhere from 30 minutes to a few days.
2 tablespoon onion powder 2 tablespoon garlic powder 2 tablespoon dried oregano
2 tablespoon dried basil 1 tablespoon thyme 1 tablespoon white pepper 3 teaspoons cayenne pepper 5 tablespoons paprika 45 tablespoons * seasoning salt
*( Prefer to add seasoning salt)
Second secret is Creole seasoning. After brining it ' s time to coat the meat with 1 / 2 cup of flour. Place the meat into skittle or cast iron fry for 15 minutes until flour coated meat turns brown.
We recommend you purchase a 4 lbs or more rump roast and brine it 12 or more hours. Preferable for deep flavor taste over night.
( The amount of time needed to brine depends on the size of the meat)
