Mediterranean Gastronomy
A
dish with tomato, zucchini, aubergine and lemon, accompanied by
grilled fish and other seafood, watered with herbs harvested in an
own vegetable garden and lots of olive oil. All fresh and tasty, to be
enjoyed in a long lunch, with a glass of good wine. This scene can fit very
well in any home or restaurant in the countries surrounding the
Mediterranean Sea.
Combining the characteristics of three continents - Europe, Africa and
Asia, the Mediterranean Gastronomy is rich in flavour and, thanks to the
ingredients used, even does well for own's health.
According to the chefs, what makes this cuisine so special is the love for the
ingredients and the celebration of life with every meal.
Spain, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Israel, Morocco, France and Egypt are the
countries with the most tradition in Mediterranean cuisine. Each of them
has its own characteristics and typical ingredients, but all share the same
principle: fresh and tasty food.
"No matter the place, the base is always the same. What makes the
difference is the respect they have for the fruits of the land and the sea "
