menus. Big River offers a wide variety
of healthy menu choices that utilize
ingredients found in and around the
Willamette Valley and from the Oregon Coast- which is only an hour
away. Del Alma brings fresh vibrant
flavors of Latin America, while Aqua
focuses on serving up steaks and seafood in imaginative ways.
More casual atmospheres can be
found at several local breweries,
namely Block 15 and Flat Tail Brewing.
American Dream Pizza features gourmet
pizzas, hand rolled crusts, homemade
pizza sauces and an amazing array of
cheeses and toppings. Just upstairs is
the Crowbar which takes pride in mixing tasty cocktails using their liquor
infusions and freshly muddled juices.
Many restaurants in town serve
local wines for just the right pairingsbut you can also go out to several of
the sixteen wineries that comprise
the “Heart of Willamette Valley Wineries” and have some shipped home.
These boutique vineyards enjoy some
of the most favorable grape growing
conditions in the valley and it is an
absolute treat to visit with the winemaker while sampling his wine.

in January with Corvallis Culinary
Week, Rhapsody in the Vineyard in
March, the Craft Beer Picnic in July
and the Bounty of Benton County on
