Winery is the oldest (and largest) in
the state while Butler Winery is fourth
oldest, and both are part of the newly
designated Uplands American Viticultural Area.
There are a high number of craft
brews on tap, including those from
two local breweries. Upland Brewing
Company offers over 30 varieties in
a seasonal rotation, including some
award-winning sours and lambics.
Bloomington Brewing Company has several varieties from stout to IPA, plus
seasonal offerings. Both breweries
operate a tap room and restaurant.
Bloomington may be a small town
with strong traditions, but it’s also a
progressive community with a lot of
bite, and a lot to bite.
