H
ow you define mountain
cuisine might depend on
your point of view—is it the
taste of trout, the earthy satisfaction
of a homemade seasonal soup after
a long day on the slopes, or the lean
and vibrant flavor of fresh game in an
elegant dish?
The Grill at Granby Ranch is the spot
where skiers tumble in after an afternoon in the snow, where locals come
to hang for acoustic tunes and happy
hours, and where families and foodies

alike come to relax and refuel on its
own unique brand of mountain fare.
Granby Ranch is a four-season
mountain community nestled against
the Continental Divide, located
only 90 minutes from Denver and
20 minutes from Rocky Mountain
National Park. Home to Ski Granby
Ranch, Bike Granby Ranch and Golf
Granby Ranch, the community offers thousands of acres of hiking and
cross-country trails as well as worldclass downhill mountain biking, a
championship golf course, miles of
gold-medal fishing, and the friendliest family ski mountain around.
All that activity means visitors work
up a hearty appetite. Here, mountain
cuisine is approachable, comforting,
peppered with inventive twists—and
a surprising backstory.
Granby Ranch’s owner, Marise
Cipriani, hails from Brazil, married
into an Italian family, and then fell in
love with the local landscape of the
Colorado Rockies, and menus reflect
that eclectic inspiration. In her dream
for Granby Ranch, Marise wanted to
create a place that embodied the authenticity of the local landscape and
was a place where families could revel
in the outdoors and come together.
The Grill is the perfect place to gather.
