Clearer, Safer Monitoring with the New ARCA IEC Transparent Door
Fibox has expanded its ARCA IEC range with a new transparent door, giving engineers clear visibility of critical equipment while maintaining the protection required in demanding environments.
As industrial systems become increasingly intelligent, electrical cabinets now house more displays, human-machine interfaces, LED indicators and other components that require regular monitoring. Traditionally, checking their status has meant opening the enclosure, potentially exposing equipment to dust, moisture and accidental contact. The ARCA transparent door allows operators to inspect displays and warning lights at a glance, supporting quicker maintenance, safer working and faster responses to potential issues.
Rather than adding a separate viewing window, Fibox has engineered the transparent door as a seamless, singlemoulded polycarbonate component. This robust construction improves impact resistance and watertightness while offering a clean, professional appearance.
Its smoked, UV-stabilised polycarbonate door helps protect against prolonged sunlight exposure, preventing yellowing and preserving visibility throughout the enclosure’ s service life.
Fully compatible with the wider ARCA IEC range and its accessories, the new door combines flexibility with the corrosion resistance, durability and outdoor performance for which ARCA cabinets are known. It is well suited to applications including renewable energy, water and wastewater, factory and building automation, and traffic control.
