Award‐winning Ecoinno is a green materials‐tech innovator delivering EU‐compliant, 100 % plant‐based alternatives to single‐use plastics through its patented Green Composite Material( GCM ®). Developed with scientists from leading UK, EU and Asian universities, GCM ® is backed by over 15 years of academic and industrial research and is tested and trusted by clients in 35 + countries worldwide. The GCM ® platform replaces plastics usage across-200 to 200 ° C, enabling freezer‐safe, oven‐safe and medical‐grade packaging that is FDA‐ and CE‐approved for demanding cross‐industry applications.
In 2025, Ecoinno introduced the world’ s first 100 % paper‐based coffee and tea capsule using GCM ®: a compostable, plastic‐ and aluminum‐free solution aligned with tightening EU rules on pods and single‐use packaging. This breakthrough, together with major global design and industry awards, helped Ecoinno secure an invitation to join the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership( CISL) as a corporate member, amplifying its role in shaping the future of circular, zero‐plastic packaging.
