OKI will host print service providers and in-house producers across food and drink, cosmetics, nutraceuticals and other label driven sectors at its Open House on 22 January at the Egham offices, where attendees can view the PLAVI ES9542R in full operation. The event shows how in-house label production can improve quality control, lower costs and speed up launches.
The PLAVI ES9542R( OKI printer + DPR winder) is designed for brands that require consistent, high quality labels across wines and spirits, artisan food and beverages, nutraceuticals and cosmetics. Its five colour CMYK + WHITE digital press produces waterproof, grease proof and alcohol resistant labels that maintain their appearance from processing to retail display.
Featuring a 330 mm media width, print lengths up to 1,320 mm and continuous runs up to 200 metres( media dependent), the printer supports both coated and uncoated papers as well as PP and PET films. The integrated WHITE toner delivers strong, opaque designs on transparent, coloured and metallic effect substrates.
The system also includes a DPR unwinder and rewinder equipped with pneumatic shafts, ultrasonic tension control and a web guide system for smooth, reliable operation.
