Growth and Innovation in Food and Drink Packaging
Autopack, the UK’ s leading independent integrator of packaging lines, has celebrated a remarkable year of expansion and is looking ahead with confidence as it helps meet the needs of food and drinks manufacturers. The company has achieved tenfold growth in turnover and strengthened its capabilities through strategic acquisitions, positioning itself as a trusted partner for businesses seeking advanced packaging solutions.
Adding value through acquisitions
The acquisition of Nottinghambased Autopak Machinery, a specialist in bespoke bag filling and handling equipment, marks Autopack’ s third major deal, following earlier additions of Postpack and Technosys. These moves have expanded its expertise in flexible packaging and boosted group turnover to £ 17 million. Alongside this growth, Autopack continues to invest in people, with a strong focus on apprenticeships and career development to build a diverse and skilled workforce.
The company is committed to excellence and aims to deliver

exceptional processing and packaging line solutions through its independence, best-in-class partners and technical expertise.
Bespoke solutions for sauces line
Autopack’ s success is seen in projects such as its collaboration with P & B( Foods) Ltd. The company delivered a fully automated sauces line, handling products from 250ml to 1 litre in both glass and plastic containers at speeds of up to 6,000 bottles per hour. The turnkey solution included advanced filling, capping and labelling systems, ensuring efficiency and consistency. This achievement has led to further automation projects for P & B Foods, including lines for ghee and edible oils.
Growing partnerships
Indeed, innovation and partnerships remain central to Autopack’ s strategy. A new partnership with SIDE, a leading manufacturer of PET blow moulding machinery, opens opportunities for customers to produce bottles and containers on-site. This approach reduces costs, eliminates complex logistics and supports sustainability by cutting transport and storage requirements. From large water tanks to small oil bottles, Autopack and SIDE offer versatile solutions for modern production needs.
As the food and drink industry faces increasing demands for efficiency, sustainability and flexibility, Autopack is ready to deliver. With its growing portfolio and a dedicated team, the company is set to help manufacturers automate to meet their packaging challenges and seize opportunities in 2026 and beyond.
