The new Miyano BNE51-MSY Fixed head CNC lathe increases WDS ’ on-site production capacity of large diameter components , such as swing bolts . Three-axis superimposed machining means the machine can manufacture completed products without the need for changeover . The new machine carries an increased tool capacity and a much faster setup procedure . This has removed the need for a staggered production planning and the more flexible machine set-up has removed production run delays , maximising WDS ’ lights-out manufacturing capability .
