do product traceability and to simulate a scenario that if we had a recall , we could identify very quickly which manufacturing batches , which products would be affected and the components used in those . WinMan has front to back and back to front traceability meaning if given a challenge from a supplier to say they ’ ve issued components to us that aren ’ t up to standard or there ’ s an issue at the customer end , we can very quickly find out what else is affected .”
SUPPORTING RESOURCE & MATERIALS PLANNING “ We don ’ t have a complex set of materials but we have quick turnarounds . We deliberately built a facility with very little storage so we can ’ t hold excess stocks . WinMan allows us to load in the demand from our customers and we can immediately see what we ’ ve got in stock , what we need to order . WinMan has the ability to update the forecasts very quickly .
We need that sort of visibility to see if our suppliers can produce in time .”
