Not only does lubricating the preforms with Lusin ® Lub O 32 F after moulding significantly reduce the occurrence of scratching during transport and handling , but a strong barrier against dust is provided , too , leading to enhanced gloss of blown bottles . Also , using Lusin ® Lub O 32 F helps to optimize the bulk box filling levels as more preforms fit in one box by simply smoothly shaking the box ( illustration 2 ). As a result , this leads to lower overall transport cost .
When applied directly on the preform before the stretch-blow moulding process , the lubricant helps to enhance surface definition on the blown bottles , leading to a sharper more defined appearance .

market . Unnecessary production line downtime must be prevented as even the shortest halt results in the loss of hundreds of manufactured bottles . Yet , blockages are a problem that often arise in post moulding air conveyor systems due to bottle-to-bottle friction . Moulded bottles move with instability through conveyor systems , then stick together on the line ( illustration 3 ), which is generally spotted only when production stops .
LUSIN ® LUB O 32 F ELIMINATES JAMMING Moulded bottles passing through the transport conveyor system need to rotate freely ( illustration 4 ). This technical requirement is most critical at the curves and rises of conveyer systems where any forced rotation will automatically lead to a blockage . Lusin ® Lub O 32 F is the product of choice that improves the transport efficiency of moulded PET bottles through these air conveyor systems .
Acting as a lubricant , the product is applied at very low dosages at key points along the PET bottle production process on the outside of preforms or bottles . The food compliant lubricant allows for reduced friction between bottles thus eliminating the jamming of bottles . Jam reduction allows for fewer production delays , less loss of labour time and increased safety due to fewer manual fixes . The coating also provides a protective layer for preforms that continues to function well beyond blow moulding process and transportation stages .
