Despite the rather strange year that 2020 has proven to be , Mechelec Automation have been granted UK , IE and US patents for their Robotic Trolley Packing System , as well as successfully completing the installation of their latest project in Ireland .
Mechelec Automation have an engineering team with a wealth of experience in the R & D and automation industry which motivated them to design , develop , prototype and successfully bring to market their Robotic Trolley Packing System .
Using Robotics , PLC ’ s , and motion control solutions from the major OEM ’ s such as ABB , Fanuc , Rockwell , Siemens , and B & R allows Mechelec Automation to bring their projects together as a seamless package combining Robotics and Automation as one .
Their experience and open minded approach to finding automation solutions resulted in an industry first solution packing 5 tier trolleys for single and shrink-wrapped milk bottles that can be sited and run in an end of line refrigerated environment , in addition offering the advantage of savings on floor space and transport costs .
The TP range of Trolley Packers are designed to provide a fully automated and cost effective trolley loading solution , at speeds of up to 250bpm and packing 4-pint bottles in a 5 x 4 format in either 4 or 5 tier trolleys .
In addition to developing their Trolley Packing System , Mechelec Automation engineers have utilised their experience writing and commissioning software for various industrial production lines , both within the UK and overseas and have recently commissioned a Robotic Palletising line for Jordans Dorset Ryvita .
