Thumbs Up!

Miguel [Rodriguez] is such a kind and attentive driver. I have MS and use a cane to walk. Miguel is so attentive and such a gentleman that when he noticed me crossing our gravel parking lot he stopped what he was doing and took a moment to offer a steady arm. I know how many stops he has after me and I so appreciate this, and every time NTFB staff members have taken the time to listen, help, and show kindness. I can't thank you enough!

- Christy Stambaugh, Fannin County Community Ministries

Taylor [Hanna] has been an incredible resource for the Brighter Bites team! She has taken time out of her schedule to meet with Meredith and I and answer all of our questions. She has made sure to introduce us to all the food bank staff and she has come with us to key meetings with NTFB staff and managers of potential BB sites. We are so blessed to have someone like Taylor at the food bank - a very generous, resourceful and positive person who has welcomed the idea of starting BB so warmly and helped us in the process!

- Alicia Farhat, NTFB Brighter Bites Programs Manager

I would like to thank Chef James, Chef Beverly, Chef Karl, Danny and all those at the NTFB for all the learning experiences and job training that they provided to me. I hope all is well for NTFB and its mission. Thank you all so very much for everything. NTFB has provided me with multiple job skills and experiences that I will never forget. - Chad F., Texas Second Chance Graduate

Thanks to Gyasi Snorton for helping us out to our vehicles while it was pouring down rain several weeks ago after the all staff meeting. He went out of his way to run into the rain to his car to get a couple umbrellas so he could escort us to our car without getting wet. It was incredibly thoughtful and nice. We all stayed dry because he took the time to lend a hand, or in this case an umbrella!

- Sophie Birdwell and the Nutrition Ed Team
