NTFB has provided free culinary and nutrition education to low-income populations since 1996. In fiscal year 2014, 508 participants were served through 35 six-week Cooking Matters courses coordinated by NTFB. Additionally, over 164,000 people received nutrition education through nutrition handouts, workshops and community events targeting low-income populations.
