The Read Act, introduced by Science, Space, and Technology Committee Chairman Lamar Smith (R-Texas), supports important research to further our understanding of Dyslexia, including better methods of early detection and teacher training.

Pittsburgh Attendees of Dyslexia Today 2016 wEncouraged to “Be the story someone wants to tell”
Although the fourth Pittsburgh PBIDA conference was titled “Dyslexia Today 2016: Learning and Living With Dyslexia” the focus was clearly on the future.
In his keynote entitled “Don’t Give Up On That KId” Nelson Lauver shared his own stories that had the audience laughing anf crying. He credited his suc- cess to his strong problem solving capabilities which he credits to being dyslexic.
