Over 350 students learn a profession at Proinvest Group
The first generation of students who completed the training course at Proinvest Group graduated this year.
The success of a business invariably involves the use of highly qualified staff. Because skilled workers for various crafts are a major problem for Romanian companies, we have decided to take the problem in our own hands. Thus, the first generation of students who completed the training course at Proinvest Group graduated this year. They received professional certificates and were offered employment on the spot. Some of them are already working in our factories in Pascani. The students were led by Mr. Constantin Petrescu, practice tutor at Proinvest Group.
Focus on Steel:“ What schools do the students come from? Constantin Petrescu: " The pupils enrolled in the program are both high school students from Pascani and neighboring villages, respectively from " Unirea " Railway Technical College Pascani, " Mihai Busuioc " Technological High School

Pascani, Professional School of Arts and Crafts from Cristesti and from " Bogdan Voda " Technical High School Halaucesti ". Focus on Steel: " What impression did the students leave you”? Constantin Petrescu: " They are open to learning new things and have skills for the professions they have chosen. But they still have to work and practice until they can discover the mysteries of a profession. We collaborate with them and with their foremen every day and we enjoy their evolution ".
The practical apprenticeship program for pupils from vocational schools will continue in the coming years, giving young people the opportunity to train themselves in the chosen profession. Unfortunately, although crafts have become very desired by employers, in Romania only 1 in 10 students chooses to study for such a profession, while in Switzerland and Germany 2 out of 3 students choose to do a crafts school.
