The National Youth Week in South Australia

re-capping events and activities involving
thousands of young people across the state.
National Youth Week (from 8-17 April) is
Australia’s biggest annual event for
young people.

It promotes positive youth engagement and
empowers young people to have a say.
This year’s event was themed “My Community
is Your Community”, and included a spectacular
launch party hosted by Multicultural Youth South
Australia and based around street art. More
than 50 participating organisations shared in
$130,000 in grants provided by the Office for
Youth and the Commonwealth Government.
