Over 160 donors, volunteers, and friends gathered to celebrate the organization’s milestone of providing three million
diapers to children in Southwest Florida. The event also
allowed Baby Basics to educate the public about the organization’s mission, to thank its volunteers and donors, and to
raise funds to continue its mission. The evening was emceed
by Rob Spicker, WINK-TV news anchor, and his daughter,
Rylie Spicker, and included delicious appetizers and live
entertainment provided by Jim Adams, an Elvis tribute artist.
A highlight of the evening was hearing from two Baby Basics
participant families about how the organization has helped
their family. The two families were then presented with a
$100 gift card to Whole Foods, baby clothes from Little Luxe,
and dinner from Giovanni Ristorante Italiano.
