FANCA ’ s Golden Jubilee in 1995
Fiji Muslim Soccer Association celebrated its Golden Jubilee in Fiji in 1995 by hosting an International soccer Tournament in Nadi , Fiji and inviting teams from Canada , USA , Australia and New Zealand . An All-star team from USA under the then President of Fiji Muslim sports Association of California Mr . Wahab Ali took part in this Tournament . After a round robin basis Canada and USA played the Final and USA won by 1- 0 . They then played Rewa , the local Muslim IDC winner and once again came out victories by 4-0 .
The success of this Tournament gave birth to FANCA and since then every other year teams from these countries , including Fiji meet in a similar International Tournament
