Like Bertie’s Boutique, they have an online booking system for their spa. However, when I looked it at it, our one is more straight forward because you are guaranteed a spot and can book in straight away. Whereas on Dogaholic, you have to email them your preferred time and date and wait for them to get back to you to confirm it.

I really love this shop; however, I have never heard of it before doing this project. When I checked out their Instagram, it is quite boring and straight forward - it doesn’t have much colour or pictures of stock. It is mainly just pictures of the dogs after visiting their spa. Joey Essex often posts picture of his dog visiting the spa on his instagram story and tags them in pictures on his dogs account. This must bring them a lot of publicity.

Like on Bertie's website, they also have a dog blog which helps give owners advise on lots of different things. For example, 'How to keep your toy dog from turning into a tiny Terroir' and 'Is there anything you can do to stop your dog from snoring?'. These are really helpful especially for first time owners. We should try to avoid any similarity between Bertie's Blog and theirs. Dogaholic will be one of Bertie’s Boutique's main competitors. We are going to have to constantly do comp shops to see what they’re selling and keep up to date with them. Luckily they will be one side of Essex and we will be the other. However, it is still important to try and make our boutique better than theirs.
