Technological: A way to communicate with our customers is using social media. I will be using Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Snapchat to interact with them. After researching other fashion brands my target audience is interested in, I will be posting pictures not only of the products I will sell but inspiration pictures too. This will keep my customers more engaged with my pages. I will use Snapchat to post pictures of the dogs at the groomers, so their owners can see what they’re up too! My direct messages will be open so customers can contact me easily. I will have my own website too; this way customers can shop online at the comfort of their own home. On my website, there will be an online booking system for the groomers that customers can book their dogs in for haircuts.

Legal: Due to the new data protection law being put in place in May 2018, I will ensure that when my customers shop online, their details don’t go any further. I will keep them safe and secure.

Bertie’s Boutique products will not be made in sweat shops, they will be made in proper factories where all workers will be paid a fair wage.

The brand will not discriminate when hiring people, everyone will be treated equally.

All employees wages will meet or exceed minimum wage and they will get paid if they work over time.

We will not employee staff members until they have their national insurance number as we do not tolerate child labour.

Employees will be treated with respect and not have any form of abuse or harassment.

We will offer a safe and hygienic working environment for all.

Risk assessments will be taken often to prevent accidents and injuries.

Environmental: I want Bertie’s Boutique to be as sustainable as possible, I want to limit the amount of carbon foot print. I am going to aim to limit the amount of product we important abroad and preferably get any products made in the UK. However, this will cost more so I will have to find the right balance. The wrapping for my products will be 100% recyclable, I don’t want to actively contribute to landfill sites.
