Evaluation & Reflection
In this evaluation, I will explain what I did well and what didn’t go well and what I would have changed if I could go back. This will explain some of reasoning for choice making. Overall, I am really happy of the final outcome although some tasks went wrong.
When starting this project, I quickly realized the amount of research I will have the achieve to complete a final project to a good standard this is something I thought I did well I was always updating my bibliography for necessary research. In the end, I gathered a large bulk of useful research. I was really unsure about using all adobe apps as I have not used them before but after spending hours on them I am really happy with then final outcome on each piece of work that I made on the adobe software.
In the beginning of the project I did not start the way I wanted as I was wasting time making not important decisions like the logo or the company name. this set me behind and it meant I had to do a lot more work in the following weeks. This meant I did not have time to read proof my work or do it to the best of my ability. Throughout the process I did not keep my deadlines which set me behind so I thought my time keeping through the process was poor and could have improved. When coming to the end of the project I felt as if some of the work was rushed and not done to the best of my ability I was disappointed with this as I ran out of time. Again, my time keeping was a problem.
If I could go back in time and change one thing. I wish I had been able to make a 3D prototype I was unable to complete a professional looking tag this meant I had to do it on Photoshop which I was disappointed about. If I had given myself more time to complete this I would have been able to create a professional looking 3D tag. if I could go back I am not sure I would do the same business. I believe in the service of my business but I have found it very testing and difficult at times as it was very different from creating just a fashion company I feel if I created a business like that my work could have been better.
My biggest problem I faced was probably finding appropriate pictures for my brand as there was not many different pictures for barcodes it was difficult as I had to think outside the box to find pictures that made sense and followed the brand image. I also had problems finding the right software to use when doing work I finally ended up using adobe but before that I used many other software’s that were either too complicated or didn’t make the work look professional.
Overall, I thought I worked well and I am proud of my final body of work I wish I was able to keep organized so I had a bit more time but I am happy with my work.
